What is the range of my phone jammer?

When it comes to the range of cell phone signal jammer, there are several factors that can interfere with the capabilities and range of a device. Cell phones need to send and receive signals from the nearest cell tower to function properly. Phone jammers work by disrupting at most one of these abilities.

For example, a phone jammer with 1W output power per channel will work on phones at a range of 10 to 30 meters. However, if the normal cell phone signal strength in the area is weak or only good, the jammer will only work with cell phones within range. This means it will only block phones with a signal strength of 1 or 2 bars.

In the same situation, if the cell phone signal is strong, maybe there are 3 or 4 signal bars, then your jammer must be 3 to 10 meters away. Unfortunately, there are some situations where phone jammers appear to be effective, as the signal strength in the area is too strong for the output power of the device.

You first need to understand the cell phone signal strength in the area you are trying to block, and purchase a device with a low enough output power for your desired radius.
